So do they study there even when they are eating? Any breaks? Also how much do they study life and death there?

You may study when you are eating, but I don't think our students do so. there is an hour free time for lunch and dinner respectively. Also it depends on what life and death problem book you are working on, (how difficult it is) and the teacher's style. The important thing is, you spend the whole day from 9 am to 9 pm, on baduk.
