I went to Seoul yesterday to discuss the visit to the US. As I mentioned before, I am going to the US in October to assist Kwon Kapyong 7Ps lecture on Baduk.

Although I undertook this project mostly because it sounded interesting, it now turned out to be a huge pressure and responsibility. It thrills me at the same time though.

After the meeting, I found the project much bigger than I thought since its ultimate object is not just to introduce the game to the school. (Well, I vaguely expected it to be a one time event.)
It was rather a long-term plan to promote the game in as many schools as possible in East coast and make some kind of Schools Competition there. (Isn
t it cool?)
Certainly it would boost American Go society. For that, however, the reaction of the school and its students is very important.
Oh, it would be a greater challenge than TOEFL Speaking.

I have two questions to you guys.

First, what do you think is the most efficient way to teach Baduk to beginners, especially when they are bright American high school students? (who never ever heard of it)

Second, Ive heard that the school is located somewhere between NY and New Jersey.

The problem is that they need to equip with a magnetic board set for a lecturer and some of Baduk sets for students. Where should they purchase them?

Would you give me a piece of advice? It would help me a lot.

Thank you!
