OMG… It must be kidding. What happened? Well… let me tell you.

It was THE DAY yesterday. ‘Cause the university result was supposed to come up.

So I turned on the computer at 7’o clock in the morning, and checked up the web site every 5 minutes. Yea..I couldn’t wait to see! And Guess What?!! I GOT IT!

PLUS 100% SCHOLARSHIP!! (It’s about 4900USD per semester)

Oh, you may not know how much I was happy & excited.

It means I am gonna start a college life since coming March.

I messaged some of my friends, and ex-teachers in full of excitement.

Moreover, I sent an email to one professor of Solbridge, who informed me several things throughout the preparation for the admission.

I expressed my gratitude and asked him to recommend me some books so that I can read some in advance. As you may imagine, I was the happiest girl in the world all day yesterday!!

However! This morning, I have had an early breakfast (I got up early) and opened an email box.

There was a response from the professor of Solbridge, which begins with;

“Congratulations! You have got very high score on your interview…….”

Haha!! See? He said I did well.

And he continued;

“A number of students who especially studied in arts field-oriented school tend to suffer with our Calculus class. Although we are making Pre-Calculus class for those students, I assume that it wouldn’t be sufficient. It will certainly be helpful to study at least basic Calculus in advance.”

Well..I had no idea what exactly Calculus was. So I asked dad.

“Dad, is Calculus difficult?”

“It’s probably the most difficult subject in Math. Why do you ask so?”

“I think I must learn that for a month.”

“No way. What for?”

“It seems I have no choice but take Calculus class in Solbridge.”

“Then why don’t you look at some examples first?”

He showed me some indeed……

What I thought was…’what is this alien language?!’

It felt as if the blue sky suddenly filled with a bleak cloud.

Yes. I have very weak knowledge on Math.

Nevertheless, a happy feature of a misfortune was dad and my sister claimed that they will help me out with this. So….I will just go for it!!

One of my favorite quotations goes; (I forgot who said this)

Nothing is impossible. Some things are just less likely.

PS. I posted three essays I wrote for university application. Feel free to read them.
