There is a saying that Life is what happens while you are busy planning other things.
As preparing for a lecture these days, I am appreciating this more.
Looking back, I had lots of plans every year, every month.
However, many of them got postponed because more important things happened to me.
For instance, I was supposed to restart violin lessons, Spanish and math study after coming back from the states. But instead, I suddenly decided to apply for a university, which led me to take TOEFL. Besides, I sort of spontaneously got the LASEK surgery.
Well, I originally had been thinking of taking TOEFL and LASEK eventually, but didnt expect to do them so early.

OH, anyway, I will retake TOEFL in October.
The score came up a few days ago. My total score was 94, which is only one point lower than the university requires. Too bad.
Apparently, I should be studying for TOEFL recently. Am I? Not really.

I am preparing for a lecture about what is Baduik, and why you should learn this.
The thing is, there is a high school, somewhere between New Jersey and New York, where the principal is interested in introducing Baduk to the schools students.

I have heard that one student, who graduated from the high school, got the permission of Columbia University and told the principal that studying Baduk helped him develop his ability to deal with other academic subjects as well. (The student learned baduk in Korea from Kwon Kapyong 7P)

So, the principal invited Kwon 7P, who is the teacher of the student, and happen to be the owner of the most famous private baduk academy of Korea. More than 30 professional players are his students including Lee Sedol 9P, Choi Chulhan 9P and Kang Dongyun 9P.

Anyway, Kwon 7P accepted the invitation. Yet, unfortunately, he doesnt speak English.
Thats why he called me a few days ago, and asked if I wanted to go with him.
Yea, I thought its amazing.
Although it turned out to be huge work to prepare for the presentation about Baduk, I believe that it would be a great experience.

Ah, good news. Ive won a match.
You may look at the game. I posted it.
I reached the quarter final of female kuksu cup.
Wish me a good luck. J
